The simple ergonomic design of this high specification scale means that the scale is light and easily manoeuvred to the patient and the brakes on two wheels lock it in place during use. The arm rests are hinged to allow greater access to the comfortable seat and the large digital display will show BMI as well as weight if height is entered using the display keyboard. Foot supports help the patient to feel steady. The 959 can be used away from a power point as it has an inbuilt rechargeable battery, and a suitable charger is supplied. It can be specially ordered with an RS232 interface if required.
